HelloBLOOM

Terms of Service

The service agreement behind your HelloBLOOM account.

These terms explain account responsibilities, subscriptions and automatic renewal, classroom and AI-assisted content, student records, acceptable use, ownership, and what happens when a subscription ends.

Teacher-led service

HelloBLOOM supports curriculum planning and classroom delivery. Educators remain responsible for reviewing content and making educational decisions.

Automatic renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until the account owner cancels them through the secure billing portal.

Student responsibility

Schools and educators must have authority to enrol students, use their information, and provide appropriate adult supervision.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service form an agreement between the person or organisation purchasing or using HelloBLOOM and the HelloBLOOM service operator. By registering, accepting an invitation, buying a subscription or using the service, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

A subscription account must be created by an adult who can enter a binding agreement. A person acting for an academy, school, company or other organisation confirms that they have authority to accept these terms and administer that organisation's account.

Launch information: The service operator's final legal entity name, Korean business-registration or mail-order-sales details, registered address, representative information and customer-service telephone number must be inserted here and in the checkout disclosures before commercial launch. Until then, this page is an English pre-launch service contract for review.

2. Accounts and organisations

  • You must provide accurate registration and billing information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for protecting your password, invitation links, student login cards and other access credentials.
  • You must promptly tell admin@hellobloom.live if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Organisation owners control admin, teacher, class and student access. Admins and teachers may act only within the permissions assigned to them.
  • Accounts and access credentials may not be sold, shared outside the subscribed organisation, or used to avoid a plan's teacher, class or student limits.

An organisation is responsible for the actions of people it invites and for removing access when a person no longer needs it. HelloBLOOM may rely on instructions given by an authenticated owner or authorised admin.

3. Subscriptions, automatic renewal and payment

Subscription features, capacities, billing cycles and prices are shown on the Pricing and checkout pages. Prices are displayed before payment. Any taxes or currency-conversion charges required by law or the card provider may be added or separately identified.

Automatic renewal

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless the account owner cancels renewal before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge the selected card or replacement payment method for each renewal and any agreed plan change.

The Account page links the eligible account owner to Stripe's secure customer portal. The portal can be used to update a card, view invoices, make supported plan changes, and cancel renewal. Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing date, and Stripe will display any applicable pro-rata charge or credit before confirmation.

Failed payments

If an automatic payment fails, Stripe may retry it and request that you update or verify the payment method. HelloBLOOM may keep access available during a limited retry period. Access may be suspended when an invoice becomes unpaid, a subscription expires, or Stripe reports the subscription as cancelled, unpaid or otherwise inactive.

Cancellation, withdrawal and refund rights are described in the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. BLOOM Credits

BLOOM Credits are prepaid service units used for eligible content or media generation. They are not money, a bank deposit, electronic currency or an investment, and they cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash except when a refund is required by law or expressly allowed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

  • The checkout page shows the number of paid credits and price before purchase.
  • Credits are deducted when a generation job is accepted or performed under the displayed pricing rules.
  • Credits used for a completed generation are normally consumed even if the customer later decides not to use the result.
  • If a chargeable generation fails because of a confirmed HelloBLOOM service error, the service may restore the affected credits.
  • Promotional or complimentary credits can have separate expiry or use conditions and have no cash value.

5. Educational use and AI-assisted content

HelloBLOOM is a curriculum-to-classroom planning and presentation service. It does not replace a qualified educator, a school's safeguarding obligations, professional judgement, or an organisation's curriculum and assessment decisions.

Some lesson language, images, audio, music or other resources can be produced with configured generation services. Generated material can contain mistakes, unsuitable details or unexpected outputs. An authorised adult must review and, where needed, edit each resource before it is assigned, presented or printed.

The Level Placement Test is teacher-directed. Teachers select marks and confirm or override the deterministic recommendation. Generative AI does not mark placement responses or decide the student's final level.

You must not use HelloBLOOM as the sole basis for a high-stakes decision about admission, employment, immigration, disability, safety, medical care or another matter with legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Student records, children and privacy

The customer decides which students to enrol and which educational records to enter. The customer must have a lawful basis and any parent or legal-representative consent required to process a student's information, including the requirements that apply to a child under 14 in Korea.

Customers must minimise student data and must not enter resident registration numbers, health records, biometric identifiers, passport details or other unnecessary sensitive information into prompts, notes or uploads. Identifying student information must not be placed in requests to external generation services.

HelloBLOOM processes student and class records to provide the authorised service, as further described in the Privacy Policy. The customer is responsible for responding to students and parents regarding the educational purpose, accuracy and appropriate retention of records it controls.

7. Content and intellectual property

HelloBLOOM materials

HelloBLOOM and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, visual system, activity structures, curriculum frameworks, templates, documentation, trademarks and pre-existing materials. A paid subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and included resources for the customer's own authorised teaching operations during the subscription.

Customer content

You retain any rights you already hold in original material you upload or enter. You give HelloBLOOM the limited permission needed to host, copy, process, display and transform that material to provide, secure and support the service.

You confirm that you have permission to use uploaded or requested material and that it does not infringe another person's rights. Rights in generated output can depend on applicable law and provider terms; HelloBLOOM does not promise that an output is unique or that identical or similar material will not be generated for another user.

Unless a resource states otherwise, classroom outputs may be presented and printed for the subscribed customer's own classes. They may not be resold, publicly republished as a competing library, used to train a competing model, or stripped of notices for commercial redistribution.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • break a law, violate another person's rights, or create abusive, exploitative, discriminatory or sexually explicit content involving minors;
  • upload malware, probe security, bypass access controls, scrape the service, interfere with other users, or reverse engineer protected components except where law expressly permits it;
  • misrepresent AI-generated or unverified material as an official assessment, legal fact or guaranteed learning result;
  • share private answer keys, teacher notes, student records or organisation data with an unauthorised person;
  • use automated requests in a way that creates unreasonable load or avoids plan, rate or credit controls; or
  • copy, imitate or use HelloBLOOM branding in a misleading way.

9. Service operation and changes

HelloBLOOM aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, provider outages, security work, internet conditions and changes in third-party services can affect availability. Features can be improved, replaced or retired when reasonably necessary, provided that material changes to a paid service are communicated as required by law.

Customers should keep appropriate copies of important teaching material and should not rely on HelloBLOOM as their only archive. Support is available through the addresses on the Contact page.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop renewal through the Account billing portal. Unless the portal and checkout disclosure state otherwise, cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period and access continues until that date.

HelloBLOOM may restrict or suspend access when payment is unpaid, an account creates a security risk, use seriously breaches these terms, or action is reasonably needed to protect students, customers, providers or the service. Where practical and lawful, HelloBLOOM will give notice and an opportunity to correct the problem.

After access ends, the service may allow a limited period for an authorised export or closure request. Data is then retained or deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy, customer instructions and legal obligations. Terms concerning payment, ownership, confidentiality, responsibility, dispute handling and provisions that by nature should continue will survive termination.

11. Responsibility, disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelloBLOOM is provided on an "as available" basis and does not guarantee that generated or third-party content is error-free, suitable for every learner, or sufficient to produce a particular educational outcome. Educators remain responsible for classroom safety, supervision, accessibility, curriculum suitability and final content decisions.

Neither party is responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was made. Where liability can lawfully be limited, HelloBLOOM's aggregate liability arising from the paid service will not exceed the subscription and paid-credit fees the affected customer paid during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

This section does not exclude or limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of privacy obligations where exclusion is unlawful, or any statutory consumer guarantee, refund right or other liability that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude or limit.

12. Applicable law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the law applicable to the service operator and the customer relationship, including mandatory Korean consumer, electronic-commerce and privacy law where it applies. A consumer keeps the protection of mandatory law and any right to use a competent consumer dispute body or court.

Before formal proceedings, the parties should first try to resolve a concern in good faith through admin@hellobloom.live or billing@hellobloom.live. Customers in Korea can also consult the Korea Fair Trade Commission's electronic-commerce guidance and available consumer dispute channels.

HelloBLOOM may update these terms for legal, security, service or commercial reasons. Material changes will be notified in advance when required. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply, unless law requires fresh consent.
